Removal of baggage or cargo without owner's permission — penalty. — A person commits the offense of removal of baggage or cargo without the owner's permission if he or she removes any baggage, cargo or other item transported upon a bus or stored in a terminal without the consent of the owner of such property or the company, or its duly authorized representative. The actual value of an item removed is not material to the offense. The offense of removal of baggage or cargo without the owner's permission is a class E felony.
